Alexandra Daniels (Ballet)
Ms.Daniels received her formative training at the Northeast School of Ballet under the direction of Sandra McNaught and Denise Cecere. While attending the school she danced as a member of the Northeast Youth Ballet, performing in The Nutcracker, A Boston Cinderella, Peter and the Wolf, Three Little Pigs, MaGoose and more. She has participated in many exchange programs collaborating with the Roxey Ballet in Lambertville, NJ, Tribevibe in Boston and Polymnia Coral Society on the Northshore of Boston. In addition to her training at NSB, she has attended summer programs with American Ballet Theatre, Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, Carolina Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theater and Burklyn Ballet Theatre. While in at University of Utah on scholarship, Ms. Daniels danced as a principal, playing the role of Odette/Odile in Swan Lake and as an excerpt of Val Caniparoli’s Lamberena and attended the Northwest American College Dance Festival, representing the University of Utah in the unadjudicated concert. She has had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica and Korea with the U of U Character Dance Ensemble to perform. Recently Ms. Daniels received a B.F.A. for the University of Utah and looks forward to a career in dance.
