Each of our programs have been designed to not only develop each student technically, but to develop their self-confidence, focus, discipline and love for the art by encouraging creativity and imagination in a fun, safe and inspiring environment.
Classes are offered in:
creative movement * pre-ballet * ballet * pointe * variations * modern * jazz * tap *ballroom
Northeast School of Ballet does not participate in recital’s or competitions. NSB Ballet Students participate in the school’s Annual Year End Lecture-Demonstration Performance open to the public in the Spring. The Lecture-Demo is structured to educate our audience on the training of a dancer from ages 4-20. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate basic ballet combinations and variations choreographed by our esteemed faculty while informing the audience on the importance of terminology, technique, musicality and artistry. Students that study modern, ballroom, jazz, and tap in addition to their ballet training, participate in NSB’s Annual Showcase. The Showcase is an opportunity for our students to perform and show their versatility to our audience.
